The original Claim Jumper flourished in the rich old and silver mining territories of the Wild West more than a century ago. In 1977 we opened our first Claim Jumper Restaurant with a recipe for success we think is as foolproof as it is simple: great traditional American food served in generous portions, friendly service and a clean and comfortable environment. Today Claim Jumper is one of the fastest growing restaurant operations in the country, with locations in California, Colorado, Washington, Arizona and Nevada.

When you step inside a Claim Jumper you will discover an environment that is warm and comfortable. The interiors of our restaurants feature huge Douglas Fir logs, natural rock, corrugated and pressed tin, natural and finished woods and large fireplaces. Rich fabrics, authentic log chairs, moving fan systems and colorful tiffany lamps are used to decorate our lobbies, dining rooms and saloons. Many of our locations feature exhibition cooking where guests watch as pizzas are prepared in an authentic wood-burning oven, and salads, soups and desserts are meticulously prepared.

Our delicious frozen appetizers, pot pies, dinners, family meals and desserts include both our traditional Western favorites and a variety of classic American recipes. Rest assured, all of our recipes still call for only the finest ingredients prepared with care.
